Cressida Hogg, 48 Chairman, Land Securities

CRESSIDA Hogg has been named chairman of developer Land Securities – making her one of just six women to chair a blue-chip firm.

The mother of three will succeed Dame Alison Carnwath, 65, in July. She joined the board as a non-executive director four years ago.

Hogg previously worked at JP Morgan and 3i before managing £16bn at the Canada Pension Fund Investment Board.

She is married to Henry Legge, brother of William, the 10th Earl of Dartmouth.
