WILKINS’ WIFE TO PRESENT FA CUP

RAY WILKINS’ widow Jackie will present the trophy at Saturday’s FA Cup final. The final pits Chelsea against Manchester United, two former clubs of Wilkins, who died aged 61 in April. Jackie will give the trophy to the winning team at Wembley from the Royal Box. The final programme will also contain a tribute.

CHRIS HUGHTON has agreed a new deal until 2021 after keeping Brighton in the top flight. Brighton were tipped for a return back to the Championship but came 15th. Chairman Tony Bloom said: ‘His calm manner brings out the best in all around him.’
