At 39, Christine Lampard expecting first child
CHRISTINE Lampard is pregnant with her first child aged 39.
The TV presenter and her husband Frank made the announcement yesterday on social media.
The couple, who married in 2015, posted a photo of themselves with Lampard’s two children and their dog, saying: ‘The Lampard family are expanding.’
Ex-England and Chelsea footballer Lampard, also 39, has two daughters – Luna, 12, and Isla, ten – from his relationship with Spanish model Elen Rivas.
Mrs Lampard said: ‘I feel so excited, nervous and grateful! The list of emotions is endless.’
A source revealed the couple had told Luna and Isla the news on Monday, but said they did not know the sex of the baby. They said the girls had been having fun coming up with baby names.
It comes three months after Mrs Lampard confessed she still wanted a child despite doting on her stepdaughters. At the time, she said: ‘If it happens, of course it will be wonderful. If not we have the two girls.’ She has previously spoken about the pressure on childless women and how she was often asked when she was going to have a baby.
