Scots fans fined for Jones abuse

THREE Scottish rugby fans who swore at England coach Eddie Jones and manhandled him as they drunkenly tried to get him to pose for a selfie were fined between £105 and £140 yesterday.

Ritchie Cleeton, 22, Connor Inglis, 25, and Brett Grant, 23, all of Edinburgh, taunted the 58-year-old Australian after spotting him at a Manchester train station the day after England’s surprise Six Nations defeat to Scotland in February, Manchester magistrates heard.

The three admitted using threatening behaviour. A fourth man denied wrongdoing and will stand trial in August.
