ROTHERHAM TO MEET SHREWS AT WEMBLEY

ROTHERHAM take on Shrewsbury Town at Wembley on May 27 for the right to play in the Championship after goals from Richard Wood and Will Vaulks gave them a 4-2 aggregate victory over Scunthorpe. Following a 2-2 draw in the first leg, the hosts took the lead when captain Wood nodded in a long throw on halftime. Vaulks then pounced on a loose ball to make it 2-0. Scunthorpe captain Rory McArdle was sent off after a second yellow card on 77 minutes.
