Elton ‘to sing for couple’

SIR Elton John is said to be performing at Prince Harry’s wedding – more than two decades after the star sang at his mother’s funeral.

The 71-year- old will entertain guests at Windsor Castle tomorrow, according to the US website TMZ – although it is unclear whether he will play in church or at the reception later.

It comes 21 years after Sir Elton sang Candle In The Wind at Princess Diana’s funeral in 1997. Sir Elton, a friend of Diana, attended Prince William’s wedding in 2011.

Last summer, he spent time with Harry in Sicily and revealed later that the prince was smitten with Miss Markle. ‘I could tell that he was totally in love,’ he later told TV presenter Lorraine Kelly. ‘He said, “I’m in love” and I thought, “Good for you”.’
