DONALD Trump last night said Kim Jong- un would face ‘total decimation’ if he doesn’t make a deal over North Korea’s nuclear missiles programme.
He said the despot would face the same fate as Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi, who was captured and killed by rebel forces in 2011 after Nato supported the Arab Spring revolt.
Mr Trump made the threat at the White House after he was asked about US national security adviser John Bolton’s claim that any deal with North Korea would follow the ‘Libyan model’.
Libya received no benefits from agreeing to scrap its nuclear weapons research until it had boxed up its nuclear arsenal and shipped it out of the country.
