OAP charged with murder of widow, 85
A PENSIONER has been charged with the murder of an 85-year-old widow.
The body of former seamstress Rosina Coleman was found by a handyman on Tuesday at the home where she had lived for around 50 years in Romford, east London.
The Metropolitan Police said Paul Prause, 65, of Romford, was arrested on Friday and charged with her murder. He will appear at Redbridge Magistrates’ Court today.
Neighbours described Mrs Coleman – a mother of two whose husband Bill died 11 years ago – as ‘incredible’ and ‘always happy’.
