THE new Duchess of Sussex has expressed her intention to change the Royal Family with regard to the role and place of women (Mail).

Has she not noticed it has at its head a matriarch who rules over this nation and whose husband walks a few steps behind her?

Furthermore, her husband’s late mother was a leading light in worldwide charitable activity. Just how much is there to change?

Meghan seems determined to be right on, but she would do better to follow her sister-in-law Catherine’s lead. With Jeremy Corbyn lurking in the wings, this is not the time to give grist to the republican mill.
