Musical chairs at DFS

dfS chief executive ian filby is to join family fashion chain Joules as its nonexecutive chairman.

filby, 59, resigned after eight years at the helm of the furniture firm but will become chairman of Sofology, which dfS bought for £25m last year. He will take over the non- executive chairman post at Joules from neil Mccausland, who is leaving after five years.

filby will be replaced by Tim Stacey who is being promoted from chief operating officer.
