Sir Salman spends a night with his sons at the Stones

-

MAN BOOKER prize winner Sir Salman Rushdie enjoyed a family reunion at the Rolling Stones gig this week. The New York-based novelist once wrote that a person will always be either a Beatles fan or a Stones fan.

Rushdie, who at 70 is four years younger than Sir Mick Jagger, also picked the Stones’ Sympathy For The Devil as one of his Desert Island Discs.

The Satanic Verses novelist was joined at the Olympic Park in London by his sons, Milan, 19, a literary blogger, and PR man Zafar, 38, as well as Zafar’s wife, classical singer Natalie, 31.
