MARTIAN MYSTERY Missions, 9pm, BBC4

SO, HOW did a cosmonaut from 1967 find himself on Mars, alive and unsupporte­d? And what happened to the U.S. mission that beat our European heroes to touchdown on the Red Planet? The questions for Renoir and the rest of the crew continue to mount in this hidden gem of a French sci-fi mystery.

TRUE-ISH TALE Urban Myths: Public Enemy, 9pm, Sky Arts

IN 2015, rappers Public Enemy caught a lift in a fan’s Ford Focus to a gig in Sheffield after a taxi failed to turn up. Philip Glenister (pictured with Paterson Joseph and Abdul Salis) plays Kevin, the driver, in this amusing new comic recreation, many of the laughs in which come from outlandish band member Flavor Flav (Salis), who is all gold teeth and catchphras­es.

LEGAL DRAMA The Good Fight, 9pm, More4

EVER since we left behind the story of Maia’s dad — which really belonged in season one — this U.S. legal drama has been going great guns. Tonight, Liz and Maia take flak at the firm over their choice of client, and Diane receives a surprise from her accountant.
