SUNDERLAND ACCUSED OF SKULDUGGERY OVER ROSS
SUNDERLAND are set to appoint St Mirren’s Jack Ross as manager today but will have to pay £100,000 in compensation. St Mirren were furious when Sunderland owner Stewart Donald gave an interview in which he said terms had been agreed with an unnamed manager. When it became clear that was Ross, St Mirren chairman Gordon Scott accused them of ‘major skulduggery’.
