Like the view? Snap up your own Cornish cove for £2.6million

- Daily Mail Reporter

GRAB your sun cream, beach towel – and £2.6million – and this little piece of paradise could be all yours.

An entire Cornish cove has gone on sale complete with holiday cottages, a restaurant, a gallery and a stunning beach. Lamorna Cove, one of Britain’s last remaining bays in private ownership, spans over 15 acres.

It also comes with a gift shop, boat and kayak hire, and a commercial space. Current owner Roy Stevenson, 68, has decided it is time the cove had a new owner after running the facilities since the 1990s. ‘It needs someone with a passion,’ he said. ‘It is only going to be sold to someone who feels the magic of the place. If you arrive and don’t feel the magic, don’t even get out of your car.’

He added: ‘My children are grown up now and it’s time for me to retire.’

After buying a house in Lamorna in the 1980s and embracing community life, Mr Stevenson was told by the previous owner of the cove: ‘You love it here so much, why don’t you just buy it?’
