How DID the driver escape this crash?

THIS was the incredible moment when touring car driver Ron Cumming survived a horror crash at Knockhill Racing Circuit in Fife. Cumming was racing in the TCR UK Championship when his vehicle struck the back of another car and careered off track. His car rolled several times and left debris as the race was halted. Marshals rushed to the scene where they found Cumming upright in his wrecked vehicle. He was taken to hospital following the crash earlier this month but has since been discharged and is recovering at home from minor injuries.
