The telltale books he carried
MARCHING into court yesterday, Harvey Weinstein carried three books – including the biography of a director accused of sexual assault.
Just days after the first set of women came forward with allegations about Weinstein, All Creatures Great And Small star Carol Drinkwater claimed controversial director Elia Kazan attacked her 40 years ago.
Miss Drinkwater, 0, alleged that she was in her 20s when Kazan attacked her. Despite numerous political and personal scandals, Kazan won a best director Oscar for On the Waterfront, and a Cannes Film Festival award for East of Eden. He died in 2003.
Weinstein was carrying Elia Kazan: A Biography by Richard Schickel, pictured left, a biography of Broadway musical duo Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, and what appeared to be a large notebook.
