As The richest season for cut flowers approaches, any gathered will last far longer if you follow these simple rules. always cut blooms early morning when they are at their most turgid. Half-fill a florists’ bucket or large jug with water. as you gather flowers, place each stem into the water until you’re ready to arrange them. Use clean vases and make an oblique cut at the end of stems to help water uptake.
