PIT GIRLS ARE BACK!
Models return to F1 ... but bring the boys too
MODELS returned to the pit lane for the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend – four months after Formula 1 scrapped the practice for being outdated.
And for the first time the glamorous women were joined by male models.
They did not perform traditional tasks such as posing in front of each car or holding up the driver’s race number.
Instead they took photographs of the drivers for posting on social media, with each driver assigned a pair of models.
The women wore floorlength backless gowns, with h the men in white shirts s tucked into white trousers.
They were representing Tag Heuer and wore the e watchmaker’s logo on their r clothes – and, in the case of f the women, on their r shoulder in the form of a temporary tattoo.
Also catching the eye was Princess Charlene, 40, wife of Monaco’s Prince Albert, , who jokingly swigged from m a large bottle of champagne as she joined the winners on the podium.
