FORGET YOUR AGE
THE pictures of Mick Jagger on stage as he embarked on a new tour left me feeling slightly in awe of him.
Despite being in his 70s, he is as slender as a whippet and struts his stuff on stage with the gusto of a man half his age.
Not for him early nights and more time tending the garden. He has, instead, learned the value of looking after yourself, continuing to learn new things and, of course, he has not retired.
Indeed, his recent performance lacked any concession to the fact that he is in his eighth decade — which just goes to prove age is just a number, something we should all remember.
