Inspiring Dr Jo

AS A former teacher, I know all about nightmare pupils from hell.

Jo Barton’s true grit and determination to make something of her life, transforming herself from a teenage alcoholic into a doctor (Mail) despite being let down by so-called professionals in the social care system, are inspirational. Her story should be told in every school in the country.
