Out of the mouths of babes

MY FAMILY and I were out for dinner celebrating my birthday. I was reading aloud the choices for dessert to my two grandchildren — sevenyear-old Ty and Sydnee, four. The choices on offer were lemon tart, cheesecake or ice cream sundae. Sydnee sighed and exclaimed: ‘Oh, I want an ice cream sundae, but I want it today, not Sunday.’
