LEICESTER SET TO KEEP PUEL AS MANAGER

CLAUDE PUEL has won his battle against the sack at Leicester. The French manager was under huge pressure towards the end of last season with his tactics proving unpopular. But after positive displays against Arsenal and Spurs, the Foxes have decided the 56-year-old (right) will remain in charge. Leicester did look at replacements, including Marco Silva who seems set for Everton, along with Huddersfield boss David Wagner. Yesterday, Wagner signed a three-year deal to stay with the West Yorkshire club.
