TRACEY BREAKS THE NEWS, 9.30PM, BBC1

FOLLOWING the positive response to the first series of the satire last year, the impressionist Tracey Ullman returns with three new shows of topical sketches, aided and abetted by some extremely talented makeup artists. New targets joining Angela Merkel, Jeremy Corbyn and Rupert Murdoch include environment secretary Michael Gove (pictured — and yes, that really is Tracey underneath all that rubber), plus Jacob ReesMogg and his ‘very longsuffering Nanny’. Filming is kept as close to transmission as possible to keep the sketches fresh and funny.
