SHARES in aerospace engineer Velocity Composites soared after it signed a bumper deal with plane maker Boeing.
The Lancashire-based firm will supply wing materials for the Boeing 737 Max, which will net it £3m over the next three years. It will also supply special vacuum bags to protect the materials from dust during construction.
Jon Bridges, chief executive, hopes the deal leads to further contracts. Shares flew 14.3pc, or 7.5p, to 60p.
