Fans’ tribute to Butcher

DESPITE shoddy treatment by the FA down the years, the independent EnglandFans FC go from strength to strength, while the official England Supporters struggle to raise a team.

EnglandFans FC’s match against Nigeria Super Eagles Fans at Bedfont today (11am) is being staged in memory of Christopher Butcher, the late son of England great terry.

Christopher, a captain in the British Army, died last year after suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder following tours of Iraq and Afghanistan. terry and wife Rita will be at the game along with president of the Nigerian Football Federation Amaju Pinnick.
