HOLDING back the hands of time – that’s a conundrum Carol Vorderman seems to pull off again and again.
Yesterday she appeared on TV with another age-defying look, sporting a blonder hairdo and fashionable darkrimmed glasses.
The 57-year-old, who made her debut on Countdown 34 years ago, made a bold statement in a red dress that showed off her hourglass figure.
The mathematician was on Good Morning Britain to chat about the Pride Of Britain Awards. Questioned about her glasses by host Susanna Reid, the mother-of-two explained that she had an eye infection and joked that she was suffering from ‘menopausal hayfever’.
‘I told that as a joke, but apparently there is such a thing,’ Miss Vorderman added.
Fans were divided on her new look, with one posting: ‘Deffo [definitely] prefer the brunette.’
