‘Corruption’ link to Macron aide
FRENCH president Emmanuel Macron’s chief of staff has been plunged into a corruption scandal.
Alexis Kohler, 45, is said to have used his position to help win contracts for the Mediterranean Shipping Company – a firm connected to his family. An inquiry is looking into Kohler’s four years in France’s economy ministry until 2016. A spokesman for Mr Macron said the allegations were ‘completely unfounded’.
