Graham Shircore, 36 Chief executive, Stanley Gibbons

STANLEY Gibbons, the sickly stamp firm, has named an investment analyst as its new chief executive. Graham Elliott Shircore joined the 162- year- old business’s board as a nonexecutive in March after his employer Phoenix Asset Management bought a 58pc stake. He has worked for Aviva Investors and Rothschild Private Wealth Management. Stanley Gibbons has struggled with declining sales, and suffered a £3.1m loss in the six months to September 30.
