Quick profit for new fast fashion float

-

SALES at Quiz rocketed 30pc last year as young shoppers snapped up its cheap and cheerful dresses and jumpsuits.

Revenues at the fast fashion chain, which was founded in 1993, soared to £116.4m in the year to March 31 as profits edged up 5pc to £8.5m. Quiz said its sales growth was largely down to its online business, which saw revenues jump 158pc to £30.6m.

As well as UK stores, the retailer has more than 300 shops around the world including in Saudi Arabia, Spain and Malaysia.

Last year it listed on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM index.

Tarak Ramzan, founder and chief executive, said a recently-launched collaboration with reality TV stars from The Only Way Is Essex was performing well, along with a budget wedding dress range.
