Want work to be fun? Join the club!

-

TEACHING assistant Josie Wilkinson grabbed the chance to run a new franchise Fun Fest when it launched in 2017.

Fun Fest offers more than 50 activities, from sports to fashion design, at children’s clubs.

Josie, who had previous experience with holiday clubs, says: ‘I joined Fun Fest soon after its nationwide launch, but I knew that the franchisor had run the business for ten years, so it had a good track record.

‘As an early franchisee I have been involved in testing out new ideas, such as a cinema club. Those proving successful can be used across the whole franchise.’

Fun Fest founder Sarah Beattie says: ‘Since our nationwide launch last year we have grown to have 12 franchisees, because there is a huge demand for quality Ofstedregistered holiday clubs for children from as young as three. We offer activities including sport, cookery, fashion design and animal encounters.’ The franchise costs £15,000.

CJ Hadlow launched the Muddy Boots camping franchise six months ago.

She says: ‘We know we do not have a long track record but the franchisees have seen the potential and the quality of the brand and this is how it has grown in such a short period. We want to work with five enthusiastic franchisees in different locations across England.’

Investment starts from £3,000.
