WHAT YOUR SCORE MEANS
0 to 4 YOUR potential risk of cheating on your partner is low. CONGRATULATIONS. You fully understand the concepts of both sexual and emotional fidelity and you’re prepared to work hard at your relationship. You’re an empathetic person who puts your partner’s feelings first. 4 to 8 YOUR potential risk of cheating on your partner is moderate. NEWNESS is intoxicating and you’re tempted by the idea of an affair. But that doesn’t mean you’ll do it. You know you can’t have your cake and eat it and you certainly don’t want a fling to destroy the relationship you have.
Ask yourself: ‘What kind of life do I want? What kind of sacrifices am I willing to make for it?’ Sharing yourself openly and revealing your vulnerabilities will foster love. 9 to 16 YOUR potential of cheating on your partner warrants attention and maybe high. YOU might seriously be considering joining the 20 per cent of people who cheat. You may already have done so.
Perhaps you’re bored or you might be the kind of person who seeks out thrills through a sense of entitlement. Or you may want out of your marriage, but don’t know how to properly and respectfully end it. Infidelity is often interpreted as an act of arrogance — but it’s also frequently self-destructive.
Consider your true desires carefully and get advice on reviving your sex life if it’s fallen into a rut. And remember, affairs are often built in the mind, not the bedroom. So getting your mind in order may be advisable.
