Gallop west for coastal glory!

-

TO CELEBRATE Aidan Turner’s return to our screens tomorrow night as Captain Ross Poldark, why not head west and take a tour of locations from the series?

Poldark fans know it’s not just Aidan’s honed torso that sets hearts a-flutter. Cornwall shines at every opportunity, as its glistening blue waters, wild moorlands and craggy cliffs provide a stunning backdrop to the swoon-worthy drama.

Discover Nampara, Poldark’s home, on a visit to St Breward on rugged Bodmin Moor, where the actors were seen filming the latest episodes on horseback.

And for some of the cliff scenes the action moved to the Padstow area, affording spectacular views across the Camel Estuary and Tregirls beach.

There’s plenty more to entice — peaceful fishing villages, smugglers’ inns, more than 70 fabulous gardens and 300 beaches, as well as trendy restaurants and tasty tea rooms.

So rich in seaside delights, Cornwall creates magical holiday memories. With Poldark back on our screens, now’s the time to plan a gallop westwards.
