LALLANA VOWS: I’LL COME BACK EVEN STRONGER

ADAM LALLANA insists he will bounce back from the disappointment of missing out on England’s World Cup squad. The Liverpool midfielder, who endured an injury-hit season, was omitted from Gareth Southgate’s 23-man party, though he was named on the stand-by list. Lallana, 30, understands Southgate’s decision and said: ‘It’s been a difficult season but I feel I will be stronger for it. ‘I have been in constant dialogue with Gareth. He has been absolutely fantastic with me.’
