FIFA PUT 48 TEAMS AT QATAR IN DOUBT

FIFA president Gianni Infantino has cast doubt on the 2022 Qatar World Cup expanding to 48 sides. The issue was due to be discussed at FIFA’s annual congress, but was pulled from the agenda. Infantino said: ‘The final decision is that the council will decide. ‘It cannot decide without agreement with Qatar.’
