CATRIN FINCH held the post of harpist to the Prince of Wales, making her the first official royal harpist since the days of Queen Victoria. She is a fluent Welsh speaker, and her Welsh origins can be heard in the music she composes. Catrin has been working with the Senegalese musician Seckou Keita, a virtuoso on the kora (a traditional lute-harp); they released
a joint album in April called SOAR, and will be giving us a taste of it on THE FOLK SHOW WITH MARK RADCLIFFE (RADIO 2, 8PM).
MATT BERRY INTERVIEWS . . . (RADIO 4, 11PM),
