DE BRUYNE: TEAMS TO TARGET HAZARD
KEVIN DE BRUYNE has told Eden Hazard to expect severe treatment in Russia. An over-zealous challenge saw Hazard kicked out of Belgium’s final friendly win over Costa Rica, with the Chelsea man limping off with a dead leg. There was no lasting damage but De Bruyne believes Hazard will be targeted at the World Cup, starting in their first game against Panama on Monday. ‘You need to calculate what’s coming,’ De Bruyne said. ‘You have to try to stay calm as much as possible. Sometimes that isn’t easy but you just try.’
