24 hours on, Ant’s new love shows her face
ANT McPartlin’s new girlfriend put on a brave face yesterday, 24 hours after their relationship was revealed and his estranged wife berated her online.
Anne-Marie Corbett, 42, left her home in South London with newly styled hair and wearing black leggings and a red bomber jacket.
The mother of two, who split from her husband in October, was personal assistant to McPartlin and his wife of 12 years, Lisa Armstrong.
Miss Corbett has supported him as he recovered from a painkiller addiction. She also attended court by his side in April when he was convicted of drink-driving.
On Sunday Miss Armstrong, 41, who split from 42-yearold McPartlin in January, accused her former friend Miss Corbett of betrayal.
Replying to a Twitter follower who remarked that McPartlin had been ‘hiding someone all along’, she said: ‘Yeah my friend and our PA who I let into our home.’ In another post she wrote: ‘To think she was my friend.’
