Ken Follett’s grief over rocker son

BEST-SELLING author Ken Follett is mourning his ‘deeply loved’ son Emanuele, who has died at the age of 49.

Rock musician Emanuele, who is by Follett’s first wife, Mary Elson, fought what his family describe as a ‘courageous battle’ with leukaemia.

Follett tells me: ‘Poet Giannina Braschi wrote: “If you want to know what love is, have a child. If you want to know what pain is, bury him.”’
