WAS mary Berry’s all-in-one method of making Victoria sponges new or did Delia Smith invent it (mail)?

I was a Home economics teacher who obtained a very useful book from the makers of Stork margarine called the New Art of Cooking, which featured traditiona­l and all-in- one methods of making Victoria sponges, shortcrust pastry and scones.

I used these recipes successful­ly during my teaching career and still rely on them today.
