444 ENGLAND’S 481 for six is a new world record for a one-day international, beating their own 444 for three against Pakistan two years ago — also at Trent Bridge.

496 ONLY one men’s team have made more in all one-day cricket: Surrey hit 496 for four against Gloucestershire at The Oval in 2007. New Zealand women recently made 490 against Ireland in Dublin.

62 ALEX HALES’ 62-ball hundred was the sixth-fastest for England, while Jonny Bairstow came in joint eighth after reaching his century from 69 balls.

557 IN his last six one-day innings, Bairstow has scored four centuries and 557 runs in all from only 364 balls. In that time he has averaged 92 with a strike-rate of 153 and has hit 64 fours and 25 sixes.

2 THIS was only the second time England have had two centurions in a oneday innings against Australia. The other instance came at Lord’s in 1985 when Graham Gooch hit 117 not out and David Gower 102 in an eight-wicket win.

50 EOIN MORGAN hit the fastest one-day 50 for England from only 21 balls — beating Jos Buttler’s record by one delivery.

5,443 MORGAN also became England’s leading run-scorer in one-day internationals, moving past Ian Bell’s tally of 5,416.

21 ENGLAND hit 21 sixes in total — one short of the world record set by New Zealand against West Indies at Queenstown in January 2014.

41 THEY also hit 41 fours, two short of their best in that game against Pakistan in 2016.

62 THEIR total of 62 boundaries was a world record, beating their own 59 struck against Pakistan.

100 AJ Tye became only the second Australian to concede 100 in a one-day international, after Mick Lewis’s 10-0-113-0 at Johannesburg in 2005-06. Tye (below) bowled only nine overs. Only two players — Zimbabwe’s Brian Vitori and India’s Vinay Kumar — have conceded more than Tye’s 100 from nine overs in an ODI.

33.1 ENGLAND brought up their 300 after only 33.1 overs — the second-fastest in history. South Africa got there in 32.2 overs en route to 438 for nine against Australia in the game when Lewis went for 113.
