The six Tories who rebelled
PHILLIP LEE
Played the Brexit martyr last week by resigning from government in a cynical attempt to cause maximum damage. The 47-year-old incurred the wrath of residents in his constituency who called on him to resign as MP – reported in his local paper, right. Constituency: Bracknell (Voted 54% Leave)
HEIDI ALLEN
An arch Remainer whose views are so Left-wing her colleagues ask if she’s really a Tory. The 43year-old used her maiden speech to attack George Osborne on tax credits. Constituency: South Cambridgeshire (38.4 % Leave)
ANTOINETTE SANDBACH Standing 6ft4 tall, barrister Sandbach, 49, is always visible among the Remainer squad. Reported a constituent to the police after the OAP accused her of treachery. Constituency: Eddisbury (52.2 % Leave)
ANNA SOUBRY
A minister under David Cameron, Soubry, 61, was sacked by Theresa May after refusing a junior ministerial job saying it was an ‘insult’. Demands ‘the softest, most sensible of Brexits’. Constituency: Broxtowe (52.5% Leave)
SARAH WOLLASTON Flip-flopper Dr Wollaston, 55, initially backed Leave during the referendum campaign but then switched sides over claim of £350million more for the NHS. Constituency: Totnes (54.1% Leave)
KENNETHCLARKE
Life-long Europhile. The ex-chancellor, 77, was sole Tory MP to vote against triggering Article 50. Constituency: Rushcliffe (41.4% Leave)
