IT BEATS TRAINING! ENGLAND STARS HIT THE CULTURE TRAIL

-

FRESH from their victory over Tunisia, some members of the England squad used their down-time to take a look around the world’s second-largest museum. Jordan Henderson and Fabian Delph offered their Instagram followers a glimpse inside St Petersburg’s stunning Hermitage Museum which boasts the largest collection of paintings in the world with some 17,127 pieces. Founded in 1764 by Catherine the Great, the museum takes its name from the fact that only a select few were allowed to visit in its early days. That was not the case yesterday as the England party — who also included Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Gary Cahill and Eric Dier — joined a tour group to soak up the culture.
