Lady Kitty Spencer is the eldest daughter of Diana’s brother, Charles, and the name everyone wants on their guest list. On Tuesday, she was an ethereal beauty in floor-length florals at the Serpentine Summer Party; last weekend she outshone Meghan Markle at the wedding of her cousin Celia McCorquodale to George Woodhouse, and then there was the stunning green floral Dolce & Gabbana number she wore to Meghan and Harry’s nuptials. No wonder the party-lover has 432,000 followers on Instagram, where she posts endless photos showcasing her glamorous modelling career and glitzy social life. A curvaceous blonde (she’s been given the vulgar nickname ‘t**s’ by her sister, Amelia), one recent Instagram post was an image of Sophia Loren captioned with the film star’s words: ‘I’d rather eat pasta and drink wine than be a size zero.’ Lady Kitty, 27, is Earl Spencer’s eldest child from his first marriage to Victoria Lockwood and grew up in South Africa, reading psychology, politics and English at the university of Cape Town. She is on warm terms with William and Harry, and is an ambassador for homelessness charity Centrepoint (of which William is patron), but is not in their inner circle. Kitty doesn’t appear to have a significant other since the end of her four-year romance to divorced property tycoon Niccolo Barattieri di San Pietro, 45, last summer. ‘None of my ex-boyfriends were English and none were right for me, so maybe an English guy is the one,’ she said last year.
