Bullied pig called Simon

PARTIALLY-SIGHTED and with deformed front legs, Simon was so terribly bullied by the bigger pigs he shared a sty with at another rescue centre that they asked Manor Farm to take him. ‘He was grossly overweight which didn’t help with his movement problems — if he was a human it’s like he’s walking on his wrists,’ says Di. ‘He’s now lost weight and is enjoying life with his friend Brooke. She chivvies him around all day and I give him strawberries and melon which he loves.’
