DAVID WALLIAMS PRESENTS — RETURN OF ALRIGHT ON THE NIGHT, 9.30PM, ITV
LAUNCHED back in 1977, It’ll Be Alright On The Night was the first show to be dedicated to bloopers and outtakes. After nearly 30 years, original presenter Denis Norden finally retired in
2006, to be replaced for a revamp two years later by Griff Rhys Jones, who stayed in post until 2016. Now, this latest reboot finds David Walliams (pictured) at the helm. But while the host may be different, the formula’s the same, with beep-filled blunders from TV and film that are often far more entertaining than their original intention.
