Purplebricks deal
PurPlEBrICks is making its first foray into the Canadian market with a £29.3m deal.
The online estate agent confirmed it will buy DuProprio, which owns and operates a commission- free real estate network that Purplebricks said is similar to its own.
But the firm came
under fire for highlighting the 39,000 homes listed last year – rather than the number sold.
Jefferies analyst anthony Codling said: ‘In true Purplebricks style, the press release talks of property listings rather than property sales, which seems to us like more sales puff without sales proof.’
