YESTERDAY morning, Laslo Djere was 800 miles away in Milan after he won a Challenger event on clay. He woke up at 4.30am to get a flight to London in time to play at Wimbledon, but he lost in four sets to Paolo Lorenzi. He told Sportsmail: ‘I came straight from the airport and played. It was a long day.’
