HARRY MAGUIRE
Kickabout calamities
HARRY MAGUIRE’S mum Zoe (right) keeps a close eye on him.
When he turned up for England training last year with a bin bag full of kit, she was swift to chide. ‘She sent me a text saying: “What’s with the bags?” ’ says Harry.
With three soccermad sons and a footballing daughter, hairdresser Zoe, 51, had her work cut out at the family home in Sheffield, where windows got broken more than once during kickabouts.
The boys started with a local team managed by dad alan, who works in insurance, and the family have been in russia.
‘I still live a normal life,’ says Harry. ‘I do jobs at home, stay as grounded as I can. Mum and Dad expect it. They don’t make excuses for me.’
