Flying the flag for her lad

ELEANOR TRIPPIER ( right) had her hands full raising defender-cum-wingback son Kieran and his three older brothers. But a photo on the Costcutter supervisor’s Facebook page is accompanied by one word: ‘Blessed.’

With Kieran’s brother Kelvin also playing football and husband Chris often away working, she took the boys to training ( Kieran joined Manchester City, aged nine). A huge St George’s flag flies in the garden of the family’s home in Ramsbottom, Bury.
