ENABLE SET TO RETURN WITH DOUBLE THRILLER

ENABLE could have two showdowns with top stablemates as John Gosden looks to step up the training programme of last season’s Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe heroine. A five-time Group One winner as a three-year-old, Enable’s season was derailed in the spring by a knee problem. Speaking yesterday on Racing UK, trainer Gosden revealed his star filly is ready to increase her workload in line for a return at York next month. She may take on Saturday’s Coral Eclipse winner and Clarehaven Stables compatriot Roaring Lion. He added: ‘It will also be great if we can get Cracksman and Enable to the Arc.’
